Kevin Skunes, of Arthur, N.D., serves as the first vice president of the Corn Board of the National Corn Growers Association, a farmer-led trade association with offices in St. Louis and Washington.
Kevin, his wife Betty, and their two sons grow corn and soybeans near Arthur, North Dakota.
Skunes currently serves on NCGA’s Resolutions Committee, the Finance Committee, the National Corn Growers Association Foundation and as the association’s representative to the National Corn-to-Ethanol Research Advisory Board.
Previously, he served as the Corn Board liaison to NCGA’s Grower Service Action Team and the Trade Policy and Biotechnology Action Team. He has served on the Association Relations Committee and as NCGA’s representative to the National Pork Producers Council. Prior to his election to the Corn Board, he served as a member of NCGA’s Ethanol and Finance Committees.
Skunes also has chaired the North Dakota Corn Utilization Council and served on the Northern Crops Institute’s Board of Directors.
