HOW
TO USE CORN IN THE CLASSROOM
Welcome to the Teacher's
Instructions for "Corn in the Classroom." To use this curriculum in your
classroom, simply:
1. Select a Unit
-- To select a unit, click on the unit name from the menu bar at the
left of your screen.
2. Read the Story
-- Stories can be read either individually by students or aloud as a
class. Select from PDF or html formats by clicking on the desired format
from the box in the upper right of your screen.
3. Select a Lesson
Plan -- You'll find lessons that teach math, science, social studies,
language arts and music/art. To select a lesson, click on the lesson
number/subject from the box in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Lesson plans are also accessable in PDF or html formats.
4. Teach the
Lesson -- Each lesson plan contains learning objectives, additional
background for teachers, suggested evaluation and student activities.
In some cases the activities include worksheets or examples, which are
provided. Answers to the worksheets can be found in the "Teachers Key."
5. Did We Make
