NCGA Corn Board Applications Due Jan. 12 (12-22-06)
Time is winding down for corn growers’ opportunity to join the National Corn Growers Association’s (NCGA) Corn Board for fiscal year 2008.
NCGA invites corn grower-members to be an integral part of its leadership by applying for positions on the NCGA Corn Board by Jan. 12. The Corn Board supervises and directs the day-to-day business and policy matters of NCGA. Corn Board members represent NCGA in official business.
“The opportunity is there to be involved in growing corn and corn growers’ issues around the world,” says NCGA President Ken McCauley. “We look to the Corn Board elections as a way to identify who’s looking to be involved in our organization.”
For a copy of the application, contact Kathy Baker at NCGA at 636-733-9004, ext. 111, or e-mail at baker@ncga.com.
Nominated candidates will be introduced at Corn Congress during the 2007 Commodity Classic in Tampa, Fla., March 1-3. Corn Board candidates will be elected at the July 2007 meeting of Corn Congress in Washington, D.C. |
