Terri Clark is
Sure to ‘Do
it All’ as
Commodity Classic Entertainer (9-30-03)
In her hit single “I Wanna Do It All,” country
music entertainer Terri Clark declares: “I wanna do it all, see Niagara
Falls, fight city hall, feel good in my skin; Beating the odds with my back
to the wall; Tryin’ to
rob Peter without payin’ Paul; I wanna do it all…”
The Commodity
Classic grower committee is pleased to announce Clark will have the opportunity
to “do it all” at the 2004 Commodity Classic, the
combined convention and trade show of the National Corn Growers Association
(NCGA) and the American Soybean Association (ASA), March 2-4 in Las Vegas,
Nev. Clark will entertain Thursday evening, March 4, at the Las Vegas Convention
Center.
Most recently, Clark, a
native Canadian, received the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Entertainer
of the Year Award – her fourth overall
and third consecutive. She also received the CCMA Single of the Year Award
for “I Just Wanna Be Mad,” The prelude to “I Wanna Do It
All.”
“Music has always been my best friend since I moved to Nashville
16 years ago to pursue my dream…,” she told the CCMA Audience
September 8, in Calgary, Ontario. “It’s such a blessing to be able
to go out each night and share my best friend with (the fans). They’re
the reason I get out and share a bus with 13 people, hauling a trailer all
over the continent every single night – and every mile is worth it, seeing
their smiling faces, singing every word and smiling back at me, enjoying the
music and seeing how it connects with them.”
Now, she’s getting
ready for America’s Country Music Association
Awards Nov. 5, where she is up for her very first Female Vocalist of the
Year Award.
