NCGA Accepting Entries for Gallery of Corn Photo Contest (10-2-06)
With harvest in full swing and activity picking up on the farm, the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) encourages corn growers, families, and affiliated state and national staff to capture the beauty of the corn crop and family farm life by participating in the NCGA Gallery of Corn Photo Contest.
The photo contest aims to capture the essence of corn farming in the Heartland.
NCGA is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2007, and the contest includes a category for historical photos. In addition to agriculture’s heritage being showcased this year, shutterbugs can shoot for categories including planting, growing, harvesting, livestock, family life and scenic.
Winning photos will be showcased at the 2007 Commodity Classic in Tampa, Fla., March 1–3. NCGA and its affiliated state organizations will use photos from the contest for publications and promotions.
