NCGA Reminder: Last Day for Discount Registration for Commodity Classic (2-9-07)

Today is the last day National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) members can save $25 on registration for the 2007 Commodity Classic in Tampa, Fla., March 1-3.

Commodity Classic is the combined convention and trade show of NCGA, the American Soybean Association and the National Association of Wheat Growers. This is the first year NAWG joins Commodity Classic.

Growers from around the country have a host of opportunities to improve their farming operation and interact with agribusiness leaders. Learning Center sessions, Early Riser Marketing Sessions, What Is New sessions and Mini What is New sessions give growers the opportunity to learn from respected industry leaders and each other on how to improve profitability and productivity on the farm.

Full Commodity Classic registration includes:

  • Trade show access that includes opening reception, lunch and coffee break
  • A dynamic General Session
  • Learning Center sessions, WIN sessions and Early Riser Marketing Session
  • NCGA banquet
  • Evening of Entertainment

Special events specifically for corn growers include:

February 28
12:30-1:30 p.m. NCGA issues briefing
1:45-2:45 p.m. NCGA open forum and policy discussion
7-9 p.m. CornPAC auction

March 1
8:30-11:30 a.m. NCGA Corn Congress

March 2
7-9 a.m. National Corn Yield Contest state winners awards breakfast
6-8:30 p.m. National Corn Yield Contest national winners awards banquet

March 3
1:30-4:30 p.m. NCGA Corn Congress
Registrations will be accepted through March 3.
