Early Registration Deadline Approaches for Commodity Classic (1-10-07)

Growers can save $50 by registering now for Commodity Classic. Early registration ends Jan. 17 for the combined convention and trade show of the American Soybean Association (ASA), the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) and the National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG) takes place in Tampa, Fla., March 1-3. This is the 11th Classic and first year NAWG has joined with NCGA and ASA.

Several educational and marketing sessions and a trade show with 192 agribusiness exhibitors await growers. Commodity Classic gives producers the opportunity to attend 12 Learning Center sessions and three Early Riser Marketing Sessions to hear about issues such as transportation, biofuels and trade.

“With several Learning Centers and Early Riser Marketing Sessions available, producers have every opportunity to learn the best methods to improve productivity on their farm,” said NCGA President Ken McCauley. “With more than 190 agribusinesses at the trade show, growers have the ability to network with key agribusiness leaders and other growers.”

Sessions include:

  • The Value of U.S. Ag Exports for Grain and Oilseed Farmers
  • Transportation Infrastructure
  • Agriculture’s Compliance with the Clean Water Act
  • Perspectives on the 2007 Farm Bill

Registration is available through March 3. For more information or to register, visit www.commodityclassic.com.
