NCGA Reminder: Last Day to Register Early for Commodity Classic (1-17-07)
Today is the last day National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) members can save $50 on registration for the 2007 Commodity Classic in Tampa, Fla., March 1-3.
Commodity Classic is the combined convention and trade show of NCGA, the American Soybean Association and the National Association of Wheat Growers. This is the first year NAWG joins Commodity Classic.
Growers from around the country have a host of opportunities to improve their farming operation and interact with agribusiness leaders. Learning Center sessions, Early Riser Marketing Sessions, What Is New sessions and Mini What is New sessions give growers the opportunity to learn from respected industry leaders and each other on how to improve profitability and productivity on the farm.
“With the exciting markets we have, a producer might learn enough to pay for the whole trip by hearing some of new things going on out there,” says NCGA President Ken McCauley. “Corn growers will find the Commodity Classic is a good experience in learning what others have done to increase their yields. That’s especially important this year, given today’s high corn prices.”
Full Commodity Classic registration includes:
- Trade show access that includes opening reception, lunch and coffee break
- A dynamic General Session
- Learning Center sessions, WIN sessions and Early Riser Marketing Session
- NCGA banquet
- Evening of Entertainment
