If you love the smell of ethanol in the morning or just like fast cars, you won’t be disappointed for much longer. NASCAR racing is back and E15 American Ethanol will be powering the sport for the fifth consecutive year as Speed Weeks kicks off this weekend in Daytona, Florida.

Thanks to the National Corn Growers Association’s partnership with Growth Energy and NASCAR, you will once again see the Green American Ethanol flag waving proudly for every race start and re-start during the season; and national NASCAR Green television commercials starting in April and running until the season ends in November.

“Our exposure in NASCAR has resulted in more than $60 million in earned (non-purchased) media value, since the program began,” said Jon Holzfaster, chairman of the NCGA NASCAR Advisory Committee. “Everywhere fans look at a race they get exposed to American Ethanol in a positive way, and it shows. Today, fans are 80 percent more likely to support the use of ethanol blended with gasoline to fuel their personal vehicle, compared to 50 percent in 2012.”

Driver Austin Dillon will once again be behind the wheel of the famous No. 3 car with American Ethanol aboard as an Associate Sponsor at Daytona, so tune in to see if he can repeat last’s year’s performance by taking the Pole position. Fans and ethanol supporters can look for the AE logo on the rear quarter panel of Austin’s car and on his fire suit all season.

You can also look forward once again to every car in NASCAR’s top three racing series wearing the green American Ethanol fuel port sticker.  American Ethanol is the only company other than Goodyear to be represented on every race car, and this is a big part of why American Ethanol is one of the most recognized brands in the sport today.

The mother of all races, the Daytona 500, takes place on Sunday, Feb. 22, but don’t wait until then to get in on the action. Sprint Cup Series practice begins today, launching two weeks of racing activities at the Daytona International Speedway. The Sprint Unlimited race begins at 8:15 p.m. EST Saturday on FOX.

American Ethanol will have full “paint outs” on Dillon’s Richard Childress Racing entry six times over the season, and will sport a new look as seen in the accompanying design.
