National Corn Growers Association Chief Executive Officer Chris Novak received Purdue University College of Agriculture’s highest honor for achievement, the Distinguished Agriculture Alumni Award, during a ceremony in West Lafayette, Indiana today.
Novak is one of eight alumni to receive the 2015 award, which recognizes Purdue Agriculture alumni who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments, made significant contributions to their professions or to society in general, and exhibit high potential for future professional growth.
“Everyone at NCGA is extremely proud to have Chris as a part of our team,” said NCGA President Chip Bowling. “He is a strategic, visionary leader who we believe will help our association continue its tradition of success into the future. Additionally, has done great work not only for our growers but for all of American agriculture in a long career of service. This award is well deserved.”
