Three hour-long webinars this week, sponsored by Illinois Corn, will detail the three decisions farmers face when it comes to commodity programs in the 2014 Farm Bill: Keep or update yields? Retain or reallocate base acres? Which program to choose to receive commodity program payments?
The webinars take place at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. CST Wednesday, Jan. 28, and 7 a.m. CST Thursday, Jan 29. Presenting in the webinars are faculty from the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois: Gary Schnitkey, Professor; Jonathan Coppess, Clinical Assistant Professor; and Nick Paulson, Associate Professor.
These webinars are free. However, registration is required to participate and space is limited.
