Farmers planning to enroll in the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) for 2019 will have until May 10 to sign up. CSP is for working lands, including cropland, pastureland, rangeland, nonindustrial private forest land and agricultural land under the jurisdiction of an Indian tribe. The 2018 Farm Bill made several improvements to the existing CSP, which has shown to increase crop yields, decrease inputs, and improve wildlife habitats among other benefits.
